Shibaigoya means “small theater,” which a small theatrical company will use to put on public performances. This setting is Bunraku, also known as Ningyou Joururi. It is a form of traditional Japanese puppet theatre, and consists of all male Ningyou-tsukai (puppeteers), Tayuu (chanter) and Shamisen player.
